Hands on History Camp
The Montana Heritage Commission will sponsor a Residential History Camp this summer. The camp will include a variety of learning experiences for young people, including a personal history research project, history and stories from the Alder Gulch area, and some fun hands-on living history projects.
Instructors for the camp will include Montana Heritage Commission staff at Virginia City, Montana Historical Society staff, Living History demonstrators and school teachers.
The fee for the camp includes five nights lodging, all meals and snacks, all activities, supplies and instruction. The fee also includes a ride on the train and a ticket to a performance at the Opera House.
