The Fish Creek House, offers a rustic touch of class setting overlooking the Tobacco Root Mountains. Located 16 miles from Whitehall, Montana, Fish Creek House combines luxury accommodations, panoramic mountain views, wide open spaces and down home hospitality. Situated on 40 acres, surrounded by BLM ground, our handcrafted country-style log home offers a relaxed atmosphere surroundings enchanted by Fish Creek running through the property. Whether you're taking part in our shooting weekends, fishing on world class fly fishing rivers, or prefer to relax in a hammock with a good book by the creek, Fish Creek House is a wonderful home to come back to...while you're away.

After a gourmet breakfast including French omelets, homemade breads and jams, fresh fruit, croissants, fresh ground coffee, yogurt, Montana granola, and trout, you may enjoy a hike or fish along Fish Creek through the woods. In the winter, the immediate area around the inn is excellent for cross-country skiing. Discovery Ski Area, is a short drive from the inn and provides some of the best downhill skiing in Southwest Montana.

We invite you to come enjoy the charm of a true Montana log home. Because we are horse lovers ourselves we welcome horses with their owners. Fish Creek House does not offer horses for riding, but we have accommodations for our equine friends. Stalls are available starting at $10 per night per horse! Negative Coggins, proof of ownership, and current vaccinations (sleeping sickness, influenza, strangles tetanus, rhino-pneumonitis, and West Nile Virus) are required.
