Orphan Girl Theatre
The Orphan Girl Theatre, a professionally directed, youth-oriented community theatre, produces a season of at least five plays and musicals, offers educational workshops, and participates in events throughout the community. The season includes annually a young audience's production, a school touring production, a holiday production, a teen classic production and a family production. Once a year the Orphan Girl Theatre produces a large scale musical in which the actors of all ages from the community are invited to participate. During the summer months the Orphan Girl Theatre offers various theatre camps and activities.
The Orphan Girl Theatre is a beautiful 106-seat theatre in the basement of the Mother Lode Theatre. The building, originally a Masonic temple built in 1923, now houses two of Montana's finest theatre venues. Upstairs is the Mother Lode Theatre and now downstairs in the same facility a beautiful, fully-equipped theatre, the Orphan Girl Theatre.
