Art & Jazz on Broadway

Original art and lively jazz come to historic downtown Philipsburg. This annual event showcases the works of painters, potters, weavers, woodworkers and sculptors. The crowds will be entertained with live jazz, while sipping a micro-brew, sampling wines and tasting cheese. There will be fun for children - free face painting and arts and craft activities.
All local businesses will be catering to visitors during the Festival. Philipsburg's charming business community hosts many unique shops - an old fashion ice cream parlor, irresistible sweets, gem stores where visitors can search for their own gems and browse a large display of beautiful and unique jewelry. There are numerous other shops where visitors can enjoy shopping for antiques, art works, baskets, rugs and other accessories for your Montana home. There will also be two live theatre performances in Philipsburg's historic Opera House on this day.

Philipsburg is becoming home to a number of outstanding artists. It is one of America's 'prettiest painted places' and was featured in the Sunset Magazine as a most desired tourist spot in the U.S. Philipsburg is nestled in Flint Creek Valley against a backdrop of spectacular mountain ranges. It is surrounded by lakes and rivers and close by Rock Creek, one of Montana's blue-ribbon fly fishing streams. Philipsburg is located along Montana's Highway 1, which is designated as the Pintlar Scenic Drive and is less than 90 minutes from Helena, Butte or Missoula.
