Great Divide Orchid Society Show and Sale
The Great Divide Orchid Society will hold its Annual Orchid Show and Sale at the Capital Hill Mall, near center court, in Helena. Everyone is encouraged to enter their blooming orchids or orchid art in this show, you need not be a member of the GDOS. Entries of orchid plants or orchid art will be accepted Friday before noon. American Orchid Society judges will award ribbons and awards. Bring your camera, there will be hundreds of beautiful and unique orchids on display. There is also a raffle, which include live orchid plants, donated by various orchid vendors. Venders will be selling plants Friday through Sunday. Handouts on orchid culture will be provided.
If you are an experienced orchid grower, or just a beginner, the orchid show is a great place to meet other growers and learn all about the orchids that can be grown in Montana. Membership to the GDOS is $20 annually and entitles you to use our extensive library of books and videos. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at the Helena Public Library. The Great Divide Orchid Society is a non-profit organization.
