  Russell Country is northcentral Montana, a region of vivid landscapes and contrasts. Famed cowboy artist Charlie Russell painted and lived here. This is also the land of Lewis and Clark, who explored much of the region traveling up the Missouri River. Recreation opportunities abound here: floating, camping, fishing, hiking, skiing, and snowmobiling.
